From October 24th to November 8th, CJLO 1690AM is hosting our annual Funding Drive! We have big plans for this
year’s drive including special events around the city and a goal of $15,000!
Our plan is to use the money we raise to expand what we are able to do as a radio station. We are planning to use
some of the money to hire Concordia students to pursue their own community radio related projects. We want to
produce a concert and workshop series aimed at supporting up and coming local artists. We also want to buy a DJ
controller to allow our volunteers to take their mixing to the next level and open up space for guest DJs to come on
air easily.
Hope to see you out at our events around Montreal and don’t forget to tune in! We’ve got so much exciting
programming planned for these next two weeks. You don’t want to miss a second.
